Duct Chase
There are two types for Duct Systems we service; Fur-up and Chase Fur - Down. 

1. If you have a Fur - up, which means your duct system is in the attic and your vents are in the ceiling, THERE IS NO
COST TO GET YOUR ENERGY EFFICENCY PROGRAM.

2, If you have a chase fur- down which means your ducts are in a drop down ceiling or on a wall or in the floor and your vents are on the chase fur down. THERE MAY BE A LOW
COST OF $100.00

Chase Fur-down

a ceiling or part of a ceiling that is lower than the primary ceiling structure. A furdown is often constructed to enclose ducts or pipe that cannot be installed in the ceiling framing spaces and must be installed below the standard ceiling level.  Also called "Furred Ceiling", "Furred Down Ceiling" and "Drop Ceiling". Fur Down Chases are built down into space generally occupy the upper portion of hallways, run

along walls, and/or cut across open living which creates lowered ceiling.

Fur-up Chases

Seen from the living area, the fur-up chases are literally indistinguishable from the finished ceiling; They are seen from the attic, they appear as a boxed out area covered with insulation. The vents appear on the ceilings
